Every year, Purim is the most crucial time for the Tomchei Torah of Yeshivas Derech Emunah. It’s your generosity that allows us to help chassanim build their homes and support bochurim who truly need financial assistance, giving them the peace of mind to focus entirely on their learning.
But this year, our reality has changed. The current security situation and the difficult times we are all going through have taken a toll. We already know that our usual in-person Purim collections are going to take a significant hit.
That’s why we are reaching out to you directly, from the bottom of our hearts. This year, more than ever, we need everyone to step up and give as much as they possibly can. Please, partner with us. About the Yeshiva
Our yeshiva, Yeshivat “Derech Emunah,” located in the city of Lod, was founded in 5778 (2018) under the leadership of Maran Sar HaTorah, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky (ztz”l). The yeshiva is led with strength and dedication by his son-in-law, HaRav HaGaon Rabbi Zelig Broverman (shlit”a), who charts the path of the yeshiva’s students toward diligent Torah study with commitment and devotion
This guidance is clearly reflected in the yeshiva’s study hall, where the voice of Torah is heard day and night, with deep immersion and a genuine connection to learning. The path to true and profound understanding is instilled by a devoted staff of Torah scholars and rabbeim, who work tirelessly for the students’ success and spiritual growth
At the same time, alongside the yeshiva’s high academic standard, the students find a listening ear among the staff of rabbeim. They accompany each student personally and are always there to advise and guide with true dedication
Another central pillar felt within the walls of the yeshiva is its unique atmosphere—an atmosphere of one large, united family, marked by mutual responsibility and brotherhood among all. In this spirit of love of Torah and genuine care for one another, each student is given a clear path to grow and be built into a true ben Torah
Goal of the Tomchei Torah Fund
To enable the students to devote themselves to their Torah study day and night with a clear and settled mind, free of distractions and worries, our yeshiva established the “Tomchei Torah Fund,” which assists students whose means are limited in covering day-to-day needs—especially unusual or non-routine expenses
Within this framework, the fund provides a broad support system that takes care of their needs, ranging from purchasing clothing and covering major medical expenses, dental treatments, and the like, to providing spending money and support for everyday costs
In addition, the fund stands by the yeshiva’s grooms and offers them dignified assistance as they prepare to establish a faithful home in Israel. This support is meant to give them peace of mind and a steady backing, so they can build their homes with clarity and confidence

To mark the launch of our fundraising campaign—and out of a deep desire to express our appreciation to our dear partners who share this responsibility with us—we are launching a special appreciation initiative. We know that your support is what enables the students to devote themselves to their Torah study with peace of mind, and therefore we wish to give back to you in the same spirit.
Donors who commit to a fixed monthly contribution of ₪200 per month for one year* will receive from us—with no need for a raffle and with full certainty—a luxurious couples’ getaway at the prestigious “Kinorot” boutique cabin network.
This special token of appreciation is valid for those who join only until 29 Adar.
* With the instruction/approval of the Rosh Yeshiva, it is also possible to donate from ma’aser (tithing) funds.
